Are we talking actually set in New Jersey or just filmed here? A TON of stuff is filmed here and many times unless you actually read the credits you'd never know it. For example, the movie "Rounders" was set in NYC but most of the streetscapes were shot in Newark. In "The Family Stone" downtown Madison as well as the Drew University campus stood in for a small New England village.

As far as set in NJ?

-Eddie and the Cruisers - Corny yet sentimental flick about a '60s era band from the Jersey Shore heavily based on Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band.

-Snake Eyes - Cliche ridden thriller with Nicolas Cage as a crooked Atlantic City cop.

-The Station Agent - Haven't seen it but its about a dwarf who inherits a disused rail station somewhere on the Morris and Essex rail line.

-Street Fight (A documentary but still) - Documentary of Cory Booker's first and unsuccessful Mayoral campaign against Sharpe James.

-Beer League - Artie Lange's comedic masterpiece about middle aged softball players set in and around Rutherford.

-13th Child (Corny straight-to-DVD movie about the Jersey Devil) - UGH...don't ask.

-Lean on Me - Inspirational piece about Joe Clark, the legendary principal of Eastside High in Paterson.

-Lock Up - Half descent Sylvester Stallone movie about a guy incarcerated in East Jersey State Prison (The one everyone associates with Rahway) in Woodbridge.

-IQ - Incredibly corny romantic comedy about Albert Einstein playing matchmaker. Obviously set in Princeton but much of the footage was shot in Cranbury. Interestingly, Cranbury also sat in for a small New England town in "Anger Management" when Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler stop for gas.

The "Mad Max" films were filmed entirely in Camden. They saved A TON of money, as they didn't have to build the post-Apocylptic sets, as Camden had the look down pact already.
