Default East Brunswick to South River commute

How bad it is? Map shows 1.3 m on Rt 18 otherwise it is just 4.8 miles. Cranbury Crossing Apt (on rent) in East Brunswick is right now on top of my list and will commute to S. River (1 Brick Plant Rd) for work. Any thoughts on Cranbury Crossing Apt and the commute? Thanks

It's not. Have you visited the area at all? You can get into South River from East Brunswick without even going on Rt. 18 so don't worry about it. Cranbury Crossings is right off of Cranbury Road right? You can take Cranbury Road right into South River. EB is right next to SR-it wouldn't be an issue at all, probably just some school bus traffic while passing EBHS.

South River is next to East Brunswick. Actually the travel agency I work for is on Cranberry Rd, East Brunswick, but the phone # is a South River Exchange.
That is not a commute worth worrying about.

The commute should not take you more than 15 mintues. Thats a great neighborhood there with Society Hill, Cranbury Crossing and Lexington Village.

A word to the wise--South River police are well-known for giving tickets. Obey the speed laws there. They have been known to ticket even people who are not speeding. Hard to prove you weren't breaking the law. They laugh at you for trying. Been there with my kid. Done that. Even had photos and demanded calibration records. They rake in lots of money. Car insurance is bad enough in NJ. Watch your speed there.
