place to live if need to commute to manhattan (Jersey City: apartment, transfer)

hey guyz,

i am planning to relocate to newjersey. so need ur help in suggesting me the places where i can look for the apartment.

my work address is 55 Water Street, New York, NY 10041. so need an apartment that should be easy to commute.

i am an indian so i would prefer a place with some indian grocery store and restaurants.

and regarding the commute.. i would prefer without any need to transfer.

Definitely look into Jersey City. It's close to NYC and it has a pretty large Indian population as well.

You'll want to be near the PATH system. You come out of the station and just walk east along Liberty St., turn right on Water and continue to #55.

Indian neighborhoods with NYC train service = Edison, Iselen, Jersey city (journal square).

oh yeah.. to help you out a little more.. Edison & Islen are the suburbs... and Jersey city journal square is obviously a city setting.
