Anyone who states that Nutley is not racist is because they are white.
I live in Nutley and have done so for twenty years , for the past ten years I have been harassed by town personnel constantly. I was recently told by Evans that Nutley was racist but that they have changed for the better yet the same people from thirty years are still here.
How can you say that the town is not racist when 99.9 % are Italian and the same racist bigots that were here
Thirty years ago.

If you are Black or Latin with color don't visit the Pasta Triangle

Evans is an Administrator in the township.

He stated to me that eight years ago yes the township was indeed bias, but not so today.
I asked him simply did the township remove the old regime or simply asked them to watch a sensitivity training video or performed lobotomy .
You can't change the way people are no matter how many videos you watch.

I wish the situation here was indeed funny but when you see a young black male on a date driving on Franklin ave and suddenly without provocation gets pulled over by a Police Officer then five other cars respond. I saw the young man exit 21 north I was behind him, he made a right unto Franklin I was still behind him. No probable cause other than car was old and he and girl being black.
It's not so funny.

Every town and city in NJ gets state funds for low income minorities.
Nutley was caught and sued by state, Nutley was giving funds to Jersey City to take in more minorities. Now we have a few more minorities here.

Yes Nutley is predominantly white and Italian ,but don't say not racist because clearly they are racists.

Unless you have been on the receiving end of racism you don't know how it feels.
Please don't get me wrong racism is in every race, blacks , whites Puerto Ricans and every other ethnicity .
I grew up poor in Newark , I am Puertorican but am 6 ft tall blonde, blue eyes and white as snow.
There were students who are black, PR , white ,South American and teachers and administration that treated me very very different . I never even cried racism but I knew what it was.
