I'm moving to Cherry Hill, I'm 32 and single is there any area that is more geared for me than others. Don't really care about the school systems, more interested in music and good restaurants. THANKS FOR READING

If you are renting - look at a few of the high-rise apartments near the cherry hill mall. There are a lot of young singles in the apts. Also - I don't know when the new apartments at the Garden State Park Town Center are opening but I would imagine those would be pretty happenin.

Kath,
You must remember that Cherry Hill does not have a downtown. Basically, we are a bunch of subdivisions that are all lumped into a township. Any nightclub/bar/pub etc... will be located o rts. 70, 38 or 73. Good luck, Shanny ![]() |

Cherry Hill is a suburban area and as a previous poster mentioned, there is no "downtown". Cherry Hill is mostly housing developments and a TON of stores and restaurants. There are a couple bars too, although not much live music. I think Red, Hot & Blue on Route 70 may have blues bands. Maybe Taylors on Route 70 too?
For a fun hip downtown hangout place, you can drive 5 minutes and visit Collingswood or better yet, hop on the PATCO HighSpeedline and in 15 minutes you'll be in Center City, Philadelphia which has much better options for nightlife and plenty of live music. We live in Cherry Hill and enjoy most of our nightlife in Philly. |

P.S. A couple notable places to try out....there are some new restaurants on Haddonfield Road near where it intersects with Route 70 that I have tried and are really good...Cheesecake Factory and Brio. Another fantastic restaurant is Taan Kitchen (Thai) on Route 38. At the Cherry Hill Mall is another of my favorite restaurants...Bahama Breeze (Caribbean theme). Try their coconut shrimp! They make great cocktails too.
Also, you will love grocery shopping at Wegmans (same location). Best supermarket anywhere. Best of all, any store you can possibly think of is located either in Cherry Hill or within a 10 minutes' drive. |
