We are looking for homes in the Sparta area (Andover, Ogdensburg, etc...) Is there internet options other than dial-up out there? Thanks!

Don't mean to be rude, but your question almost sounds facetious. Every high speed is available in that area. Fios might not be, but if not it will be soon.

DSL of ???? quality by Embarq (sprint). I dont have them. Unlimited domestic phone was some crazy price.
Cable of C+ quality by Service Electric (B+ for quality when up but C for uptime)

I live in Ogdensburg

Show me otherwise but I rather doubt FIOS is coming to Sparta anytime soon. (If at all? Embarq is the phone co) They are still working on finishing Morris Co.

Service Electric is ok for the area, I mean it's not the greatest but it'll get you online, FIOS would be great or Cablevision as well, but I don't think they'll be up here anytime soon either.
