Not sure of charges, but you can call Craig or Pete at Chatham Movers 973 377-7100. Family owned for 90 years.

I've known them for 10 years. High quality and reliable.

Have you considered using PODS and just hiring labor to load/unload? I looked at two 8'x8'x16' containers (more than the largest rentable moving truck short of Mayflower-type rigs), and it's around $3,500 dropped off, picked up, shipped, and delivered to Union County. Add in some labor at each end for packing/unpacking, and some boxes, etc., and you're probably looking at around $5-6,000 total.

When we moved from Florida to Alabama we used ABF U-Pack and it was a very nice experience. The trailers were delivered when they were scheduled
and the drivers were very nice and helpful.

Yup- what'd ya think it was gonna cost ya- $500??? lol

Remember, you could do the loading/unloading yourself and do it for under $4k. Renting a big Ryder/Uhaul would be almost that much, plus you're strapped to their time frame, and you've got to be willing to drive your entire life 600 miles through whatever weather happens to be in place at the time. Trust me- those trucks don't drive like a new BMW....lol.

Default try freehold movers

We used Freehold Movers. Very professional, but it was in state. They were average in price. It was about 2 grand for our entire 3 bdrm 2.5 bath house.
