I live in Neptune (Monmouth County by Belmar), have a 5 bedroom, 2 bath home on a 100x75 ft lot. I can list my home for $525K and I pay $8000 in taxes.
Let's compare....

Just found a buyer for my cape cod (1200 SF, including basement), 150 X 50 foot lot, in Ewing township. One bedroom downstairs, two upstairs, one bathroom. Taxes $3800+.
