food, food and more food!!!!!!!
Well I am really enjoying myself way to much back in NJ!!! It seems going without any decent food in the Adirondacks for 5 months has set me up to eat myself into a sheer bliss coma in NJ.Well got on the scale last week and had the shock of my life. I mean the earth shook and I said thats it!!! How did I manage to pack on 8 lbs in a few months, it was easy!!! Ohh I hit, Zoe's on the Lake, Salt, Cathay 22, Stoney Hill Inn, Rods, Docs, KiKu, and a few others. Well lets just say my pants are tight and one week ago I decided to slow it down and get back to 130 This week I managed to do that and lets just say I have been very crabby but its over now hit 130 at 5 ft 5 inches and now I guess I will just be alittle more careful. Ohh the food here in NJ, its really good and you can really pack it on here!!!! The only good news is I have no bigger clothes so if my pants dont fit I am out of luck!!! I mean that week of cutting back I had visions of greasy chicken delight and star tavern pizza everyday. The moral of the story is if you want to loose weight without going to fat camp, go to Plattsburgh, NY Lake Champlain region for a week, you will lose weight. This state is too damn good!!

nj really doesn't get its due from people across the nation when it comes to food. anytime i tell friends from other areas that the food in the region is quite good (even if you factor out nyc or philly), they always seem shocked. then again, people around the country really don't know anything about nj except for the stereotypes, which is really unfortunate.
moral of the story? jersey is one misunderstood state.

Now lets factor in all the gourmet food stores, organic places and stores with good ingredients and asian, mexcian, indian, brazilian markets you could really cook , and I love to cook also, its a huge set up for being in sheer food bliss or an overweight person. Lets say its always fun getting there!!

I actually lose weight when I come up - but that's only due to the fact that I'm constantly outside moving around. If I didn't, I'd have to roll myself back down here! Food is too good there.

Well, I went to Iberias in Newark for Portuguese, I went to NYC for Thai but I can't remember the name of the place, it was in the Lower East Side. I also went to the shore area and ate at The Inlet Cafe in the Highlands on the water. Of course pizza up on Rt 46 but don't the name of the place, not that it matters, every place in NJ has better pizza then what I'm getting now. I visited my mom, who is 100% Italian and she made my favorite Eggplant Parm with Ricotta cheese. I was all over the place and had a great time. When I got back to SC, I started Nutrisystem to lose the weight and I've been hitting the treadmill, until my next trip!

Tell your mom that she needs to make some for tomorrow, she'll be having some guests (I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this).

Talk about calories, I'm going to a Dove chocolate party this week. It should be awesome. The mousse is so delicious it melts in your mouth and i think all you have to do is mix the stuff with heavy cream, we're also doing a chocolate fondue. They have chocolate tinis but i'm not a martini type girl and chocolate cai tea that i want to try.
Wish me luck that my clothes will still fit.
