LMAO - Homeland security said it won't work and it's too expensive so that's it? You believe that BS? Now I understand where you are coming from...thanks for the giggle.

Because I read National Geographic, religiously. An article I read about 5 years ago absolutely sickened me. Someone who cries the blues about poverty in this country should be required to read these articles. As much as the conversion from post-Soviet economy has been difficult to Russians, the conditions are amplified x100 in Mongolia. Hence, the need for Russia to fortify that border post-1996, which concides with the time period where Mongolia was transitioning into its first stab at a free market economy. Things there have been even more difficult.
But you don't have to be a subscriber to National Geographic. You can use any search engine and find articles. Here's one for your consumption:

*sigh*
I'm no fan of Homeland Security. The same studies have been done by the INS and by Homeland Security. The prices have not changed (except for inflation). The people requirement to be posted has not changed. The fact that a wall is made useless by a tunnel has not changed.
If I could introduce you to the clue-fairy on this one, I would. If you want to ignore reality and think that this idea is in any way worthwhile, go right ahead. It doesn't change the fact that it can't be done, and it wouldn't be worth a damn. Thanks for playing.

Ok, what ever.....in a few years we will more then likely be speaking to each other in Spanish as no one in Washington has the gonats to end this crap
I just wish really really wish that legal immigrants from other countries..India, China, Russia et al band together and file a discrimination suit as nothing is printed in their native tongue...we just continue to bend over for illegal Latin & Central American immigrants
