Default Renting in south Jersey

Me and a friend of mine are looking into moving to southern New Jersey sometime over the summer. Originally, our intent was to move to Cherry Hill but it would appear that apartments/rentals there are a bit on the expensive side. What other communities fairly close to Cherry Hill might have more tolerable rent? Thanks for any advice!

What you would like to rent as well as how much is very much needed.
You might be able to rent a house in Browns Mills, we have a friend who has a 2 bedroom for about $400.
We have a lot of military here, since the real estate market is bad, people had to move and some are renting their houses out.
There are also a few apartment complexes. Country Lakes is the best section of Browns Mills to rent in, the closer you go towards the base the more airplane noise you hear

2 bedroom. And in Phoenix we were paying 800 a month.. I wouldn't want to go much over 1000 if that's possible? I don't know what kind of place that would get us though.

Try looking at the "Meadows in Runnemede" and the "Village at Haddonfield" 2brs for under 1k is getting tougher and tougher. Also check out Craigslist-South Jersey. You may be able to rent a condo for that price in the Cherry Hill area.
