I'm looking for a Real Estate broker that can guide me in buying my first home. is it okay to have more than 1 person to help me find a house?

Where are you looking? We used Tom Bianco at Coldwell Banker in Westfield and he was superb.

Well I do know Tom goes all over. This guy is really good and worth a call. Before working in real estate, he worked in construction. My husband and I found that to be very helpful as he had lots of economical suggestions and knew what was realistic to be thinking for future modifications in our home.

Phyllis Hoffer of Re/Max in Bergen County is really good! She helped my brother and a freind of mine each buy places. They can't say enough good things about her. From what I understand she is in the top 1% of all Re/Max agents in the state of New Jersey. A very true professional and good at what she does! Her office is in Mahwah and the phone number Re/max in Mahwah should be in the book. Good Luck finding a place!

Try going to a few open houses and meet realtors in the area. You want to find someone not only you like, but from the area. The biggest mistake people make is using a realtor from another area.
