Default Need help narrowing N. NJ houses down

We are relocating to NJ from California and are flying in this Thursday for our weekend of house viewing with our realtor. We have quite a big list of homes we have found on the internet that fit our price range <$350K. I will be commuting to Wayne. I'm listing the towns that a majority of these homes lie and would love your feedback as to what your opinions are of these places!! Thanks a million...we are looking forward to calling the garden state home soon!

Franklin (Sussex Co)
Sparta
Byram
Ogdensburg
Bloomingdale
Butler
Longhill Twp

We did see some awesome homes in Hackettstown but the property taxes seem usually high and I am worried about the commute....any feedback there?

Thanks!!!!!

well i can tell you other than bloomingdale and butler, the other town are a LONG commute. i worked on the about 3 blocks from wayne and a coworker lived in ogdensburg. she often would start work late--around 10 or 11, and leave at 6. that was when the weather was good. i dont know what your hours will be, but if you dont mind the commute or the nasty weather, sussex county is very pretty.
bloomingdale and butler are a much easier commute.
