Long Branch is a night and day town. Houses near the beach are huge. Go a block or two west and it changes quickly. I did alot of work in Long Branch regarding Abbott schools. The one thing I will say is that the Superintendent has done everything he can for the students in LB with regard to the Abbott laws. LB has built some really nice schools, and alot of them, mostly because the Super understood how the system worked.

I believe it is a good concept, just horribly mismanaged by the State.

The Superintendent is one of the highest paid in New Jersey. That is not what Abbott money should be spent on. It's all for show. New buildings, state of the art football fields, and classrooms full of students performing below grade level. That's not what Abbott is all about.
