Default River Edge or New Milford

Which town is better of those, New Milford or River Edge in Bergen County.
Which has better schools? Better to live?

river edge is a little bit wealthier (and i think more expensive) and has a higher-rated school system. kids from river edge and oradell go to the same high school, river dell, which is solid. plus, there are two train stations in town (one is named river edge and the other is called north hackensack, which despite its name is actually not in hackensack).

nothing wrong with new milford. it's a nice enough town, but all things being equal i'd go with river edge if you can find something in your price range.

I know i visit one of my relatives in River Edge and the town is nice, but boring.. i grew up in 1 town below (Hackensack) and thats where its at. But i dont know much about New Milford.
I know New Milford has a better price range for homes... If its much of a diffrence, because i could never afford either of them anyway

River edge is a nicer town, though more expesive, New Milord is ok, too, just a little cheaper.Depending where in River Edge you live, there is Van Saun Park in Paramus, but can be walked to from River Edge. It is a quiet, town.I am not sure of your "family"situation, but it is nice for children.Like I said New Milford isn't bad either.
