Default 22yr old multicultural professional looking for "good" place to live

Ok, Im a recent grad of Michigan State Universty and will be coming to the NJ area to work for Merck & Co. I will have a rotational program that could require me to move between the Whitehouse Station and West Point locations. I lived in New Brunswick over the summer and enjoyed it and would like somewhere else I could meet young professionals, thats more urban than rural and that wont have me commuting too much over an hour. THANKS!

Will they have you at the Rahway Merck at all? There is some new development in the Rahway area that is ideally situated for someone that needs to commmute. There are new condos, and some townhouses available.

And makes a BOATLOAD of cash... that new development is insanely expensive...

You would think the amenities were included based on their pricing, but its all extras. Quite insane if you ask me, I think they will be lucky to sell them all off at the prices they are pushing.

I won't be in the Rahway area, as my specialty deals with supply chain risk and security. I'll be making $50+k...I just don't want to be bored or locked in traffic all day!

lambertville or new hope - not sure that fits the "young professional" vibe you're looking for though. morristown is definitely NOT equidistant!
