I recommend the Westmount Country Club in West Paterson. It's great.

The Bethwood is a hall located in Totowa. I've never been to this one though, so I can't comment on it.

how many people and when is the event?
i can recomend a few:

Morzetta's in north haledon (this is where i had my sons--but its a small place)
the greenhouse cafe in wayne
the brownstone in paterson
francescos in west Paterson
i always feel like its more work to use a hall, but totowa has a vfw on union blvd

I second Westmount, but it may be too big?

Bethwood is a wedding factory, I don't care for it (and the decor).

Try Mina's on the Mountain (Italian Food) in West Paterson, off of Squirelwood Road. It's close to Route 80.
