I live in Edgewater, NJ and may need to commute to a job that is located in Fair Haven, NJ. The town is located between Red Bank and Rumson. Does anyone have any ideas on this commute and how to make it work. I really don't want to drive the whole way but would be willing to drive to a Park and Ride. I would appreciate any ideas to see if I could work it out.

I can't think of any buses that travel in that direction, and they'd definitely not stop conveniently near your office. You could look at driving to Newark and taking a train to Red Bank, but you'd still have to get from the train station to the office. I hate to say it, but driving is probably the only real choice, and it's going to be +/- a 1.5 hour commute.

I can catch a cab from there to the office but try as I might, I cannot find buses from my area that go to the Junction. You would think a hub and spoke system for public transportation would be in place, but............

Thats a really long drive. I used to commute from the Trenton area to Eatontown and that took over an hour.

What about the Hamilton Train Station?
