What is best mode of transportation? Franklin Lakes, specifically. Tj transit rail to Fair Lawn? Bus? What transfers are required?

Thanks

I've seen the website, and it may just be me, but I can't navigate it very well. Someone here must know how to get from the city to Bergen County. I'm visiting a friend. What is fastest/easiest?

NJ Transit train to Allendale or Waldwick, either direct from Hoboken or from Penn Station (changing at Secaucus). Then have your friend pick you up.

That's probably the easiest.

If you want to take a bus, you could take 164 to Midland Park and then transfer to 752. It stop in Franklin Lakes.

Check out The Coach USA Bus site. They have Direct service to/from Franklin lakes during rush hours only. Off Peak hours take the 164 to Midland Park and get a lift or a taxi. the 752 bus has very limited service west of Ridgewood which the last bus is 6pm on weekdays and none on weekends
