Welcome to the 2011 edition of Nestbox News!
After overcoming some technical difficulties, the webcam atop 101 Hudson Street has begun streaming live and still images over the Internet! Staff has observed both adults on the roof and there is a scrape in the nestbox awaiting a clutch of eggs. Since egg laying typically occurs between late March and the end of April we can anticipate it at any time. Incubation begins only after all the eggs (usually 3-4) have been laid and lasts 32 to 33 days.
