Ok...I'm thinking of going out for dinner tomorrow night to a British Restaurant...my way of thanking them for our independence..lol - does anyone have any input on the Ships Inn in Milford, NJ? The menu looks great. I'll be celebrating with a couple of Brits so I want to make sure i take them some place good : )

Never heard of it before you post. Checked out the website, looks very "cute". Post if you try it, it's not too far from me.

Have you tried that new gastropub "Salt" in Byram yet? It's owned by the people who used to own/run Bula in Newton. It's very cute inside and they have a fantastic beer selection. The food is pricey but good, some things better than others. The presentation of the food is awesome.

Ate there last week : ) It was "ok"... pricey and I think it's a little too posh for that area - I don't think it will last. The beer selection was great though.

I will... we've been in "driving and trying new places" mode this week. I've been to Frenchtown a few times but never to Milford.

I agree, pricey and portions were small, but othewise the food tasted great. Time will tell.

I had some "hinger steak" thing and it was pretty good. I would eat there again... maybe.

Just came around your neck of the woods, took a ride on 94 towards blairstown, passed the Wilbur's Country store. I love road trips on overcast days.
