Hi,
I will be arriving into Newark airport on a domestic US Air flight this evening. I need to get to Sayreville, NJ. Are cabs easily available and familiar with directions to Sayreville? Alternatively, can you recommend any car/taxi service that I can pre arrange? Thanks, Andy |

When you arrive at Newark Airport you find the taxi service which will be outside. Just follow the signs. You will get into a line with everyone else. The dispatcher will walk to you and ask where you are going. He will tell you the price right there before you commit to any taxi. In other words, you are told the price up front. You wait on that line till a taxi is available. The taxies pull up one by one, load the next passenger on line and take off.
You have no choice who the driver is or what taxi company. Next on line is what you get. You asked if the driver can help you with information? The answer is almost never.....no they can not. Few....very very few Taxi Drivers speak English. Last time I visited home which was 2.5 years ago it cost me $42 plus tip from Newark to Woodbridge. Sayerville is maybe 15 minutes further. |
