Manahawkin vs. Frenchtown...what would u choose??
ok....i know they couldnt be farther apart in comparison...my hubby got a good job offer in frenchtown, as well as manahawkin....i grew up on the shore in manasquan, and all of my family is in that area....but i spent ALOT of time at lake gerard(franklin, high point),which once was a private fishing and hunting club and now has been in litigation with chinese land developers for years(another thread, some other time...lol)and i absolutely love the area.i just moved back to good ol nj after 18 years and i am antsy to start over....where is the question.after being on a tropical beach for so many years...i was longing for nature again..so, good peoples of city data forum...if it was YOUR choice....what would U choose? ps i also have a 5 yr old boy who will be starting kindergarten in september....thanks so much..please feel free to dm me at any time!!

FRENCHTOWN!!! Hunterdon County also has some of the best schools. I love that area of NJ plus you're only minutes from PA.

Winters over the past few years have been very mild! We have even been in the 60's in January. Coldest month is typically February anymore. It's cold everywhere in NJ : ) Can't help you with the cabinet builder... maybe someone else can. If you like PA..maybe look at New Hope or Lambertville on the Jersey side - Bucks County is beautiful!!!

Frenchtown all the way. Nice little town, no crime, great schools, nice people, one of the most scenic areas of NJ. They have a great place for breakfest called the The Frenchtown Cafe, not to be confused with Frenchtown Inn (a top rated resturant). Lambertville and New Hope are close by for things to do. You will find good housing surrounding the areas, 2+ acres, 3000+ sf, fairly new for easily under 600K
