New Jersey finds gas station rip-offs - AOL Autos

The statement that NJ has lower priced gas , isn't true because I'm paying $3.89 a gal and I know in Murfreesboro its even less.

You know what's going to eventually happened... people will begin to install their own private gasoline tanks at their homes! This happened way back when during the gas crunch. That's ok by me..job security down the road. Once things return to normal, they will all want their gasoline tank removed .

Gas by me..regular is at 3.97/gallon. I was in PA and it seems their price per gallon is about the same... considering we don't have self serve and they do...I think PA stations are ripping people off as well.

Considering the national average is hovering around $4.10 for regular right now and here in Chicago it's about $4.40/gal, $3.89 still sounds like you're getting a better deal than most of the country.

How fondly I look back at the days when I first moved to the city and thought $1.35 for a gallon of gas was ridiculous.
