having to see your mother in law!!! Ohh crap she lives in Bergen COunty too!! Double crappy! This is a lady who brings out 5 year old frozen cakes from every last bad family gathering. Talk about getting sick! Just thinking about what old crappy frozen cake probably from Easter last year that we all did not finish. HELP!!!
good idea, but she has to pawn off those frozen cakes on someone, I have done that and she freezes the dessert I bring!! SO either way I get stuck with at least 1 year old frozen cake!!! This is all in fun mind you.
It probably goes waaay back to earlier years when they didnt have much $$ had to save or go hungry, and carries over to now - a lot of people tend to be savers (myself included to a degree) - but it's a good feeling when the stuff in the back of the freezer is dug out and dumped (what the heck was it and why did I save it - ?!?!) but I wouldn't subject my relatives to it (thanx but no thanx!), LOL! Anyway, have a fun afternoon and enjoy the cake (j/k!).

Bring it home make sure it's totally unfrozen, cut it in half and playfully you and your spouse squish it on top of the head and or in each others faces.
That's about all it's worth.
Not worth getting sick over that's for sure and an expense unfortunately when you purchase something nice and the MIL freezes that - chalk it up as "a small expense" to see her I guess.
ohh I know, it could be worse just figure i would lighten up the conversation , its just doom and gloom all over!!! Listen we may all be eating frozen cake soon!!
I have to clean my mom's fridge out every year or so. I throw out everything, theres nothing like italian dressing with an expiration date of June 2003 for a nice homemade salad. It's a frugal thing.
