Hello. Considering relocating to Princeton and would like to know if anyone has had a good experience or knows someone who has had a good experience with the school district (public school) and special needs children.

Any info about this would be great. Thank you.

EliseNY - did you end up in princeton? i'm a single mom coming from nyc with two special needs boys who attended private special ed schools here...but i can no longer afford it. i've been looking at madison, chatham and possibly summit...but the school district that keeps coming up is princeton. any insight into their services?

I have heard special services in Madison are horrible. It's a small district that gives minimal support to special needs kids, esp if the needs are significant (some are placed out-of-district, but they are trying to move away from that, I think as it is expensive).

Chatham should be fine.

But choose carefully, services REALLY vary by district.
