CORZINE YOU ARE A JERK. They are also building one in Hoboken. It's election time so that dummy that forgot his seatbelt will be showing up tomorrow in Jersey City to shake hands with the people that put and will put him back in office. I'm so pissed I kicked my waste paper basket over. GGGGRRRR
Jersey Man - You are soo... right!! What is it with NJ's cities? They give away the store in tax abatements just to get some dumpy big-box place with minimum wage jobs and then pat themselves on the back for a "job well done". Then they wonder why their tax base is so small! When the school bill comes due, the mayor, board of education and the teachers go into "Cry Me A River mode" until the state ponies up the money. The Never-Ending New Jersey Story!

Default UPDATE !!!! This just in !!

here's what I guess Corslime "forgot" to mention yesterday.................... from this mornings press...

Corzine to okay borrowing $3.9B
by The Associated Press
Wednesday July 09, 2008, 9:29 AM

Gov. Jon Corzine is scheduled to sign legislation today authorizing the state to borrow $3.9 billion without voter approval.

The governor will sign the bill as he tours aging schools in Jersey City, Bloomfield, Newark and Camden.

The money would provide $2.5 billion for schools in the poorest cities and $1 billion for all other districts.

The state Supreme Court has ordered schools be built in the poorest districts.

Critics contend the borrowing will drive up already mounting state debt and should go to voters for their approval.

So there's where's the money is coming from...we're just going to borrow some more !!!!

This money isn't going to go to education, its going to go to building a school that will be riddled with change orders, cost a massive amount more than originally intended, include artwork which can be melted and sold and will (not may) be stolen, be destroyed within a few years, and just be continual waste until we end up paying for another (giant waste of money) school.

So keep your bleeding heart in check.

What would one expect to hear? After all this is New Jerkey, the state that finds New ways to Jerk its residents around.

The money will be coming from the taxpayers, like it always has! If you don't end up paying for it, your children will!

You must be new to NJ. You've got a WHOLE lot to learn.

We do have tasty pizza, however.
