Default short commute to Englewood Cliffs

Hi,

My quest for a 2bdr single house under 350K in Closter, Tenafly, Cresskill, Dumont area didn't go well... So I'm back to square one, only this time looking for a 2bdr+ condo / townhouse....

Now my agent is telling me condo/townhouses in north west region (Allendale, Hillsdale, Park Ridge) have the "garden look" and would likely fit my budget compared to the ones in Fort Lee or Cliffside Park... but the commute will most likely be more than 30 mins...

Does anybody have suggestions on a nice town or neighborhood where newly weds can start a family? Condo or townhouse with 15-20 min commute to Englewood Cliffs would be preferable.

Thank you.
