Default There is a song about New Jersey

Back in the late 90's a band from Philadelphia recorded the song New Jersey. So, yes there is a NJ theme song. The band was called Edgar Allen and The Poettes.

Actually, there are several NJ themed songs floating about the ether, including more than one that has been proposed and lobbied for as an "Official" State song. That said, to date, there is no official state song, but several contenders, with attendant controversy.
