New Years Eve 1986 with Cinderella opening! I sat behind Bon Jovi's parents. Actually, snuck up to those seats to be near friends-my real seats were way way up there.
One of the best shows I saw, years back was A Benefit concert in Redbank. Not only Bon Jovi, but Springsteen and Southside J. was there as well. I had 5th row and loved every minute of it. No matter what anyone says they are a great band to see LIVE!
What happened to their bass player? I see they use a session guy for recordings and touring and pose for photos as four (not five) guys. Did they have a parting of ways? What went down?
Different stories about Alec. I don't know exactly, don't want to spread rumors.
But Hugh, has been with the band (on records etc) for years. Read the liner notes
and you will see his name. I don't like that they don't put Hugh in a lot of promos.
That too is a strange contract, but BJ is basically the original members.
Love Bon Jovi...their 1989 homecoming concert at Giants Stadium was my first concert ever (I was 9)
Not sure if you remember it all, but it was an excellent concert!
