Safety about Haledon? (Paterson: condo, school, areas)

Going to look at a condo at weekends, and come here to search about this town.
i do not have kids, so school does not matter to me.
I only care about the safety issue, it is around south of WPU ( at Southside Av ).
Anybody can provide any information, thanks in advance.

yea its fine. Haledon for the most part is a good town. Just a couple areas near paterson not so much.

Haledon is safe. It is blue collar, diverse, but still considered livable. That only changes if you are smack along some parts of the Paterson border. Otherwise, haledon is a good place for a starter home.
