Default Woodlynne NJ?
Hey Everyone,

I am relocating from Philly to S. Jersey for law school. My wife and I are looking at a house in Woodlynne NJ, about half a block from the Ferry Ave PATCO station. Is this area safe at all? I can't go see it, because we are currently out of the country...any and all thoughts on the neighborhood are appreciated.

It's a small, mostly lower class town that's fairly well maintained. I wouldn't say it's dangerous but there's more crime in it than your average town.

Woodlynne is a small, diverse community where you can get a lot of house for the dollar. Taxes are low, compared to the rest of NJ, and houses sell for a reasonable price. There is some crime, but we have lived here there for almost 20 years now and have had no problem. Woodlynne has a shared services agreement with Collingswood for police protection, and they do an excellent job.
