wherever you go, make sure to check out restaurant.com for a gift certificate (usually $3 for a $10 off or $10 for $25 off). also check couponcabin.com for a coupon for the coupon, lol. they have special right now - 40% each certificate, so $6 for a $25 cert. i've used them A LOT, and never have had a problem - redwoods in chester, greenhouse cafe in ship bottom, Acqua in Raritan (I had a $50 off for this place, I think I paid $10)....

Restaurant.com - Find deals on neighborhood restaurants. $25 Restaurant Certificates for only $10!

Love that site....use it all the time. Some really good deals on there including Cara Mia in Hackettstown (one of my favorites).

Arthur's Steakhouse in Morris Plains, NJ...no frills decor, HUGE steaks at a great price (delicious steaks), and the area's BEST french onion soup and chocolate mousse pie (I get it to go because I could never eat dessert after the steak!) There's also one in Hoboken.

OMG...you guys are killing me.....making me miss NJ as well as EnyaGirl. I agree with a lot of you...Hot Grill...fries w/gravy...yum...and who said Yetters Diner for THC on a roll w/fries & gravy??? I'll have to check that out one of these days...not too far over the border from me.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any favorite "cheapy" places to eat but when I do...I'll be sure to add my 2 cents.

Pic-a-Lilli in Shamong for buffalo wings. I think there is an 'annex' location in Medford as well.
