Default active adult communities

We are going to visit one in Smithville and another in Rio Grande (Cape MAy County) this week.

Anyone familiar with these areas that could give me some pros and cons?

Can anyone recommend any other "active adult" communities? Looking for new, single family with a club house.

Thanks

55+ has been discussed here a number of times.

What builders are you looking at?

K. Hovonian in Smithville and Beazer in Rio Grande.

Not familiar with either town. I did a search and did not find anything.

Thanks

Smithville is very nice and has the town of smithville (shops) right there. The homes are a little pricey $400+ and the taxes are high. We did look at another builder (Lennar) in Rio Grande and liked them (semi-attached) and the prices were about $280. Most developments by Lennar aren't a la carte. Meaning there are no upgrades as the homes are already upgraded.

Do you have the name of the development by Lennar and where it is?

Appreciate the help.

It's in Rio Grande. They were showing by appointment only. Best bet would be to call the builder.

New Homes by Lennar
