Hi --My fiance works in Bucks County and I work on the UWS of NYC. He currently lives in Phila and I in Bklyn.we are getting married and have not yet decided on a location where to live.
I need to communicate to Manhattan and my husband to Bucks County. Please offer suggestions as I do not know NJ- anything good close to quick service to the city and a reasonable commute to Pa?
since you both have to go so far, i would say try to make it "even". that would be an hour commute for each of you, if you find a place in North Jersey. somewhere around wayne, totowa, upper passiac county area.

that's definitely more than an hour to bucks, don't you think? OP, where in bucks does he work?
i'd actually advise living closer to NY, as the fiance will be going against traffic. without knowing budget, maybe something along 78 or 24 - madison, chatham, morristown? this is a tough one.
we used to drive from totowa to bucks county--the very edge of course in about 1 hour and 20 minutes?
my bro takes the bus from wayne to lower east side and he takes 50 minutes.
Will you be driving or taking the train to NYC? That will make a big difference. If you are taking the train, you have to choose a town with good service to Manhattan.
what about Princeton? How long is the train ride from there?
It's 1-1 1/2 hrs to Manhattan from the Princeton Jct. station but parking is a problem there.
OP might want to look in Hamilton, that station has more parking and is pretty convenient to I-95 and Bucks Co.
Might look in Robbinsville as well, it's pretty close to Hamilton and has good housing options.
