Are all of you having a party without me! I knew I should have waited to move only if teleportation was perfected. Beam me up Wiley. This is an interesting thread. As you all may well know there is a sh*tload of NJ people down here. Supposedly, there are alot more Republicans than Democrats among these new transplants. North Carolina is traditionally a scarlet red state, but now it may actually be in play. I suspect my vote will add a bluer tint to that red. I'm "The Purplizer".

BTW, One thing I do miss about NJ is the old Spencer's Gift Shops of the 70's.
There were soo many "accessories" there that were soo... handy in those days!

A cousin of mine (black sheep of family) owned a Head Shop in Brooklyn around 1971.

No....not entirely, not when it comes to Barry...but Yes...I think unions are parasitic in nature.

What breath would you be wasting?

His policies suck, his agenda sucks....
oh and his "health care" plan is a JOKE. the system we have in place now is just working so damn well lets just continue it!!!!
Any person who willingly hugs the man who ran a race based smear campaign against his own daughter deserves to be sent BACK to 'Nam
.

Dude...Never said I supported John McCain or his agenda. I do agree, however that SOMETHING needs to be done when it comes to the cost of energy and sorry, but, Obama says "no" to coal, nuclear, wind-thingy's, drilling in the US, putting those rebates back out from the Fed for solar....

Where does Obama stand? Don't drive yourself bigger than a SMART car? Don't turn on your heat or your air? What's his answer? He's right up in there with patting the Mid-east on their backs (or Germany...maybe he wants to figure out how that country got their oil from SH/Iraq when they weren't legally - under international law - allowed to?) as well as sucking up to morons who think we "really need" the ME and their oil. And I won't start on why he didn't visit the troops in Germany...no CAMERAS allowed!

Ok, McCain's daughter is gay...and you're going to compare THAT to Obama telling the world his WHITE Gramma (who raised him) was a "typical white person"....not to mention, dead *when she isn't*? He's 50% white...and he's got two other sides that make up the other 50% of him. At least McCain didn't say his daughter was gay AND dead. McCain said he didn't support gay marriage..he never said he didn't support his daughter...or called her a "typical lesbian".

Was he born in Kenya or not? I don't know if that has been resolved? Is he eligible to run for POTUS? I'm guessing yes...?

This country will never see a national health system. There's way to much money changing hands in the health insurance and prescription drug industries. Not to mentioned lost jobs... both of these industries employ a large majority of Americans.
My friend, my comment is not ignorant, it's anecdotal given all the family I have who live and reside in socialistic based EU countries.

Are you a Dane? If you are or have family in Denmark you must know about Jantelov. That's always a good one!

What are you talking about?

I hope you were not referring to me.

What's the mantra? When you have no facts to back you up you should quickly claim "racism"?

That only works on TV.

Deal with the facts presented to you, go take a minute to google and and re-group. Stop with the opinions...facts are what is necessary in order to have an informed opinion let alone a meaningful discussion. Look at BOTH sides...you don't have to like it but it makes no sense to truly be ignorant...and when it comes to voting the definition of ignorance is when you vote for a person without seriously looking into and researching (in the best way that you can) all the negatives about him/her. If you can take all of those negatives and justify them(against opposing facts) ...then you're good.

I think there are two lamo's up for POTUS this 97 days away from election. I still have 97 days to make a decision regarding how I am going to vote. I'm open..I'm not a fan of either... but Obama, to me, has done nothing other than pander, take back, pander some more and take back some more...I'm not liking him.

Hey...I may not vote...for the first time in 21 years. That's how much I don't like either one of them.
