Tahiti,
It was thought that when my dad had surgery they were able to 'get' his cancer, in his colon. A year later it came back and then it passed to his lung. You can probably figure the rest of the story. I have a cousin who lives in Denver who is an oncologist, and she will parrot a famous quote by George Carlin: "It's all guesswork in a white hat".
Well, to lighten it up, Kate, it seems like we will have missed each other by a smidge. I am boarding a plane a little later on today to Denver, and will be in Boulder for the rest of the week. I am actually going to be in Sedalia (kind of near Bailey) this evening for a few hours, visiting another cousin, then off to training tomorrow morning in Broomfield.
Hmm I wonder if that is Bro's doctor...he is at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver, his surgeon is a Randolph Kessler...glowing raves on him but he also has an oncologist..oops never mind saw the "she" his is a 'he"

No need, the 470 Beltway does the job. It's even a toll road, so I will feel like I am back in NJ, in a sense. At least till I get to the gas station, and some half-baked attendant that I would otherwise have to wait 3 minutes for will be absent.

You know it was great seeing some of those critters...
For the most part I'm ok with them except a mountain lion...sneaky & deadly

Thank you all for your best wishes for my bro!!
Best part if there is one is because i took an early AM flight and the time difference I was able to spend about 15 minutes with him before surgery!! My SIL was stressing I wouldn't make it in time.

Welcome back Kate. I hope brother is getting better. That place in Colorado sounds a little different then growing up in JC. It sounds like you should be armed.

Welcome Back home Kate. My prayers are that your brother has a fast and complete recovery.

Sounds to quiet there for me. I like to be close enough to culture.
