Default Grocery / Retail Management?

OK - since I was reading needhelpinnj's posting and I thought maybe I'd throw this out there as some of you mentioned....

My hubby is looking for work - for a while now - he's really beyond dedicated, loyal and hardworking - as I his wife who is often jilted for work even on vacation can attest too.... He's been interviewing and interviewing but no luck....

His last job was with a restaurant supply company (wholesale, like a BJ's or COSTCO) and he was there 10 yrs... Inventory Manager, promoted to Asst. Manager, then General Manager of a store that did over $2.0 mil per week in sales.

If anyone has any leads - let me know here or send me a DM.

Can't hurt I guess?

Oh, and we are in NE Jersey - but he's willing to go anywhere.

Well, we're in NE Jersey - he'll go west, he'll go central... TOO far South would be difficult, but I'd say as far as Monmouth County and out townard Sommerset will still be ok. Thanks!

I see a listing for restaurant manager - Bayonne Golf Club... My sister was an assist. manager for a large chain restaurant..she was pulling in close to 80K yr. with her bonuses, etc. Worth a shot..something until things get better?

He actually got a call from their recruiter... the salary is one you could only live on in FL though... Thanks for trying Rielly!

He actually had an interview at HUMC in food management... I'm PRAYING, but I know it is a long shot. They say it is harder to get a job at HUMC than it is to get into Harvard now.
