its mostly the business sector being raised, my cousin owns the hertz rent a car building on route 17 and his taxes went up about 20 percent. Paramus has been out of control for a while, the town is a little crooked, my dad lives in paramus, I went to Paramus High School, and it used to be a nice town. I mean its still a nice town but just expensive and out of control spending. I would not anywhere in Bergen county unless I took the train to NY or made big bucks. Its convient thats it. I found Hillsdale where we lived and sold the house very convient to shop and walk to things, but my taxes were out of control and I saw no end in sight. These other counties really dont rape you as much but your driving farther so it kinda again is a trade off I see.

no, that would be if the house were in dallas
but seriously, out here the taxes would NOT be 18K, but that takes the wind out of a lot of ppl's sails who have a flair for the dramatic.
around here, the taxes on that house would be about $10/$11K

9500/yr! If I had some extra cash laying around..I'd scoop that house up! Very desirable subdivision..houses going for 550K at the moment in that development!
