From Italy to Peapack: where to live?
Hi every one,
may be I'll move from Italy to Peapack for work ( Pfizer), in which city can I live?
I have no idea about the cost of life, of the house or which is considered a good salary, where can I found these information?
Thank's a lot

Peapack itself is absolutely beautiful! Expensive but beautiful. What is your budget? Are schools an issue? Chester is great..Long Valley if you have kids - great school system... you have alot of choices!

Actually we do not have any kids ( hoping in the future), I am a bit worried because my wife should be transferred in Pfizer, while I'd look for a job, so at the beginning we'd live with only one salary....

Maybe rent at first and see if you find a job? NJ is very expensive... min. salary to survive would be around 52K/yr. That'll get you a decent rental. In order to live a comfortable life and own a house out that way...6 figures needed. Play around on www.gsmls.com and look at homes in that general area. They also included rentals.

If your wife is the one being transferred, and you're not an American citizen and don't have the proper visa for working here, you can't legally work in the US.
