Utilities cost in/around Rutherford (houses, buyers, living in)

I am looking to buy a house in Rutherford, NJ. Could anybody living in/near Rutherford help me estimate utilities (heat, A/C) costs for a 3000 sq. ft. house? What's the electricity cost per KW there? Thanks!

3000 SF home in Rutherford.

I live in bear country. 150 winter and 300 summer for a 1200 SF crapshack. You are looking north of that and way way north of that if its electric heat.

3000 SF is not exactly cheap. Ya know that right?

Guy who lives in Woodridge said 220-400 for 2000 SF.

If you are purchasing a home, you can ask your realtor to request the owner's gas/electric bills for a 6 month timeframe. Most sellers will be willing to show them to buyers. Keep in mind these bills tend to be higher when a home is on the market because people will generally keep things extra toasty in the winter or extra cool in the summer for showings.

not to mention leaving all lights on for open houses.
I pay $3000/yr heat (gas) and electric for a 2000 sq ft house.
