Shoulder pads
don't forget shoulder pads and rhinestone embellishment.....Those were in my I-wanna-be-the Female "Prince" Pop star days....I even sewed my pant legs in to make them tighter and scrunch up near the bottom over my high heeled granny boots..
oh oh and the BANANA CLIP in the hair !!!!! Bwhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about granny dresses in the 70's?
Geez, I had jeans that had a rainbow design on the leg front that wrapped around the back to the other leg.
I also had velvet jeans, Gitano I think.
Then you have my all time fave.. SPANDEX! along with the funky earrings

Let's see in intermediate and high school:
mini skirts-loved wearing these
leg warmers
couldn't afford designer jeans
I am sure I am forgetting some things
Remember "Jellies"?
Remember women's ties?
Remember Roach Clip earings?
I also went through a phase in 7th grade where I wore concert shirts and flannel shirts all the time-guess it was a "burn-out" phase.
I never really had super high hair but I did shave one side of my head once and kept it longer on the other side. It actually looked better than it sounds-hard to explain. I wonder if my dad has a photo of it- I will have to see when I am down there next time.

Who could forget macrame purses. Also, remember those horrible black concert t-shirts with the tour dates on the back. So popular when I was in jr. high and high school. It was so cool to wear one to school the next day to show off what shows you went to.
