Default Commuting from East Windsor (Mercer County) to NYC

Hey,
How would the commute be from East Windsor/Hightstown be to NYC? Google maps says it would be about an hour to an hour and a half with traffic. I can get an amazing condo in that area for around 89k. I would be saving so much money with the condo that I could make up for it in gas. Is there a train service from Princeton to NYC? What options do I have to commute? Driving is one of course but I also mean train options. Should I move from Brooklyn or stay and just rent and buy something in BK later on.
Thanks

There's a Park-and-Ride bus at the 8A exit from the NJ Turnpike. BETTER than driving! And there's a years-long wait for a parking place at the Princeton Junction train station, so the bus is your best bet.

i was looking into moving into the east windsor area, but i was wondering if the bus or the train were better. Time of Trip, Price, and availability are most important.I will be commuting to Jersey City near the newport mall. I am leaning more to the bus if its not too expensive and not to long of a trip than the train because of the wait list for parking at the train station. If anybody takes the bus from east windsor to jersey city and has information please let me know. Thanks

My sister lives in East Windsor and her husband takes the bus from the exit 8A Park and Ride on Rt 130 to NYC. He says it's just under 2 hours. I don't have info on pricing but I can ask him if you need. Seems a little far to me, but it's the same as Monmouth County commute and you have great schools in that area.

You can count on 2 hours each way on average and more if there's an accident or incident of some kind. There is the North East Corridor Train that goes from Princeton Jct to Penn Station that you can take or the bus from Rt. 130. There are also several van pools that will pick you up from your house or close to it. This might take you longer, but it's much more affordable.

Also, check out the crime rate in East Windsor before moving. I lived there for a few years in the late 90's, but I'm not sure if things have changed since then.

"amazing condo" in East Windsor for less than 90k? I call shenanigans.

Was it Twin Rivers? For all the adjectives I can use to describe Twin Rivers, "amazing" isn't the first to come to mind.

There are so-so and very good parts of East Windsor. Looking at the uniform crime rate for the entire area doesn't help much.

I just looked. Gardenview Terrace and the Orchard have places in the 100K area.

Yeah, I'm thinking less "amazing" and more "Yikes."

Then again, the OP is coming from Brooklyn, so YMMV.
