People I know swear by Steve's Sizzling Steaks - not sure what town it's in - it's on Route 17 South in lower Bergen County - maybe Hasbrouck Heights? Personally, I've never been there, but I've heard great things. Has anyone tried their food?

Yes it's in Carlstadt and the steaks are good but the building needs a bit of updating. |

I agree with some of these chains they are not like chains. I went to the original Ruth Chris in New Orleans, its not there any more due to Katrinia, but your right. |

Pal's cabin always good and there was a place called Rod's,they had one of the best steak sandwichs around(not like a steak and cheese) but a real steak on toast............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!  |
