Default Apartments near newark (UMDNJ)

I lived in nutley for a year and I liked how convienent it was to have the post office and supermarket one block away. Rent including utilities and parking was about 1000. I didn't want to stay in that apartment for 3 more years so I'm moved out.

I've been trying to look for comparable apartments, but I've had no luck. I searched for days on apartment.com, rent.com, move.com, forrent.com, and a lot of other online sites, but only came up with 2 potential apartments. I searched for apts in Nutley, Bloomfield, Belleville, Kearny, West Orange.

Can any one recommend good places to find an apartment similar to the one I lived in at Nutley? Any sites and location would be great.

What are the good parts of Bloomfield to live in?

thanks in advance!

Looking for an apartment is tough. I wanted to look for a nice place so I can stay there for the next three years. I would appreciate any help.

Have you checked out Craigslist or the GSMLS.com website for rentals?

Recommend Nutley, Belleville, Clifton, or Bloomfield as towns.

As for locations in Bloomfield, generally you want to look in the North End - Oakview, Demarest, and Brookdale sections.

I don't know what $1000 buys you, though (utilities, parking, etc.) as I have not looked into rentals.

Best of luck to you.
