Condo/Townhouse for rent?
Does anyone know of any condos or townhomes (2 bedroom, 1 bath) for rent..budget 1100.00? Preferrably in Essex County area..but I'm open.

Keep it going!
 Does it ahve to be a condo? Can it be an apartment in a 2 family home or something? Does it have to be in Essex? You know, I was helping a friend find a place recently and one place we found a lot of 2 BRs at reasonable (for NJ in 2008) rents was in Wallington, NJ (in Bergen County) . It's a small town, formerly all Polish, now a lot of Polish, but far more diverse... it's not a "happening" town by any means, it's more blue collar, but it's safe and fairly quiet. My friend got a very nice 2 BR apt for $1100. We looked at others that ranged from $900-1300 for 2BRs. Last edited by EEEPNJ; 08-16-2008 at 11:04 PM.. Reason: Added County

It borders E. Rutherford, Carlstadt, Garfield, Wood-Ridge and Passaic... but don't panic - Passaic is divided by a river and the crime rate does not carry over into Wallington. It's easily accessible to Rt. 3, Rt. 17 and Rt. 21... you can shoot off from there pretty easily. Look at it, check out Craigslist and the like for apartment listings. It's really not a bad place at all.

Wallington is nice. I've seen a couple of shows at the Wreck Room.
