Wow, the 'Eastern PA' concept was not one I had previously considered, but it really does apply. For instance, try frolicking around these counties with a NY Giants jersey on (as I have). You garner more flack than if you were a shirt that said "F--- Cheesesteaks!"

Spincycle says NJ is long overdue for being split or sectioned here on City-Data.com. It could be done by either by county or split as some suggested by looking at how NJ.com and Craigslist.com split/sectioned theirs for New Jersey.

It would make things nicer and less cluttered IMO. Enhance searchability and also eliminate redundant posts/threads.

The current system here in my opinion is a total joke.

It does make sense but I would have thought that the NW portion of NJ would have fallen under NE PA not New York State?

I disagree.. we are a very small state and the forum, if split, would be a total bore! It's all about numbers and city-data needs hits to show to advertisers. The biggest forum, or most popular forum in here is "politics'! Take a look at the numbers on the main City-Data Forum page.

Excuse me, forum-splitters but I now live in Camden County, grew up in Monmouth County, lived in Ocean and Bergen counties and I really feel that if you split it up, I for one prolly won't be around...(too much work).

We have had this discussion soooooo many times. NJ will be ONE!!!!

You may now talk amongst yourselves!

Shanny

This state is only 3 hours MAX from one end to the other. I think the parkway only goes up to about Exit 160. Give me a fast car and I could do it in an hour and a half at 3 in the morning
