Who do you trust to leave your dog with?

We leave her with BF's parents. If we couldn't do that, I would try to find a reputable pet sitter in my area. Not a big fan of kennels.

Friends..family...pet sitters? By me, there's a place in Newton that is great! They have webcams in each room so you can visit your pet on-line while you're away..lol. They have "private" kitty rooms with condos...great setup. I've never used them but it's a great concept for those of us who go over the top caring for our pets like they are our children.

Joe, look into local Vet hospitals. Some of them come with little "condos" for your pets. You can even go on a website with some of them and view your pet. I know Newton Veterinary Hospital has this feature and it's absolutely wonderful.

Club Barks in West Patterson
We absolutely love Club Barks in West Patterson. Our dog goes to doggy daycare everyday while we're at work and stays over when we go out of town. They're excellent.

Thanks. The whole family is going so - this is a once in every, oh, 15 years thing - normally my family is happy to take her. We bring her with us just about everywhere and she gets out a lot, dog park, walks, so we do really not want her to sit in a cage for 11 days. That would be absolutely miserable. I will check around - the place in West Paterson sounds ok and they seem to be very careful - require all sorts of shots and vaccines and a visit before hand to make sure she will "fit".
