I’m thinking of moving to Howell NJ and would like to know realistically how long the commute from Howell to NYC would be during the week using NJ transit. Also, what’s the least aggravating way to get there, the train or the bus?

Default Com from NYC to Howell

It is much more convenient to commute from NYC to Howell by bus and it takes about 1 hr 30 minutes.

Howell is a 1.5 hour commute. You may also want to give consideration to nearby towns such as Freehold, Manalapan, Marlboro and Old Bridge, as they would offer a shorter commute.

Best of luck to you,
