i got 19/19 but still didn't pass the interview because i didn't bring 3 years of: 1) tax return, utility bill, bank statement, proof of insurance and mortgage statement. I am not sure what the USCIS is trying to establish here since I already have a permanent green card ... any thoughts?
I failed...13/19
But then again I always hated history in school. Never cared about the past with wars and stuff. The guys always did better than the girls on that subject.
Guess I am being deported to Canada!
To this day I still cannot believe I memorized the whole Gettysburg Address in 5th grade. We had to each, one by one stand in front of the class and recite it! Today I cannot remember Jack/Sheet! Only the first sentence! But who in any conversation is going to be asked to recite that?
I guess your right to a certain extent, but I'm sure alot of it sticks with you if you learned it. I'm a science major in college, so I havent studied US history since 11th grade and I still remember alot of it.
how long ago was 11th grade for you though? check back in another 20 yrs...

No, Japan was... Pearl Harbor was major. Japan, Germany and Italy were all allies. My DH was just telling me last night that the US really had NO CLUE about the concentration camps in Germany, etc. until we got hit at Pearl Harbor. I find that hard to believe...but whatever.
I think Italy surrendered inside of a year.
Missed the age for POTUS. Last thing I'd want to see is any 35 year old running the country in this day and age.
